Any given model will create one, and only one, library/model, but as many versions (publications) as needed. Whenever the model owner creates a new version of a model/library by publishing it, the new version becomes available in all models that use that library.
Importing a Library or Model
Go to
If your model's current library version is not the latest, the Out-of-date Library Imports alert will appear on the Help tab when you first enter your model. It will give you brief information about the library name, old version and newest version available to use. You can either click next to the Out-of-date Library Imports alert, or go directly to Library and Model Import to update to the newest version.
Note: In order to import a library, it must be compatible with the version of the Basic Library. The software will alert you if a new library is incompatible. This is not to say that the new library cannot be used, it means that you might need to use an earlier version of the Basic Library that is compatible.
