Creating a Model

Monthly Model
The default is to create a Monthly model, which the most common model configuration. This type of model has 12 periods (months) per year. Each month is based on the calendar, containing the same number of days per month as the Gregorian calendar. The first Fiscal month can be specified as part of Model Parameters.
Custom Calendar
It is also possible to create a model with Custom Calendar. A model with a custom calendar can be defined with a number of periods per year ranging from 1 (annual model) to 60 (e.g. 12 periods for a monthly model, 4 periods for a quarterly model). Additionally, a Custom Calendar model allows you to specify the number of days in each month, which is useful for fiscal calendars using a 445,454, or 544 system.
Monthly models can be converted to a Custom Calendar model at any time.
