FO Type Restrictions
Each user defined group may optionally restrict what it contains to any number of FO Types. FO Type violations occur if such groups have FOs that do not belong to the allowed set of FOs (or their subtypes). In addition, groups can limit subgroups or adding more FOs to a group. To specify an FO Type Restriction, go to the group panel and click on the "Edit" button in the "Type" line. You will see two lists for specifying FO Types either as exclusive or non-exclusive.
Exclusive means that instances of these FO Types can only appear in one group (or subgroups). If such instances appear in other groups, it is considered an FO Type Violation. Non-exclusive means instances may also appear in other groups.
FO Type restrictions are inherited by all subgroups. However, a subgroup can narrow the restriction to subtypes.
